Along with contributing to and educating our community, Pilot Club members love being members of the community and participating in community events.

Each year, the Pilot Club of Canyon Lake enters a float into the Christmas ( and 4th of July (, page 4) community parades (link to pictures of last year’s parades). We also participate as a group in the 9/11 Freedom Walk ( across the dam: an annual event at Canyon Dam to commemorate, honor and remember those that died on 9/11 and those who continue to sacrifice everything to keep our freedoms.

We also volunteer annually in Canyon Lake's own Float a Soldier.

As our wounded service members are healing in body, mind and soul, we hope to be a part of that healing process. It’s our goal to give these brave men and women the opportunity to take a break from grueling rehab at the hospital by enjoying a day of fun, fishing, floating and fellowship.

We provide a great day of adventure on Canyon Lake during our summer lake day events that begins with boating, fishing, a Texas brisket lunch, some water sports, and relaxation.
